Men's Group

The inaugural meeting was held on Wednesday 16th November in the Parish lounge.

Interesting and lively discussion took place to decide the sort of activities we wanted to pursue as a group. This ranged from local visits, speakers, exploring faith, fun nights and much, much more.

Given how busy we all become in the run up to Christmas we decided not to have a meeting in December and the next meeting will be on 18th January at 7.15pm again in the Parish lounge.

Please come and enjoy the fellowship

Kairos Update

The youth, children's and schools task group is continuing its work. It is looking at the future use of Price's money, the better sharing of resources such as puppets and developing the training of lay people to use the resources.

It is hoped to develop cluster relationships by a pulpit swap on dates to be agreed next year. Currently particular events or services are being considered. Meanwhile the clergy continue to explore the various traditions and divisive issues such as women's ministry and the episcopate (that could run for a long time!).

The question of even considering Parish boundaries is causing some dissent so expect little progress on that for several years. Two lay people have been nominated to be on the joint cluster working group including Pam Hair from Holy Trinity.
