Houses

House Groups

There are various house groups in the Parish who usually meet fortnightly.

They are opportunities to discuss our faith in the informal atmosphere of a small group, in the comfort of a 'home'. In this way we grow as Christians, increasing our confidence and knowledge through discussions, bible studies, videos etc. Equally important is prayer and loving care for one another.

Sharing our worries and concerns can be very helpful and the group gives support when needed. Anyone may start a group in this Parish with support from staff.

Mothers’ Union

P.A.C. meets in the Parish Centre on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm

An informal chat over a cup of coffee is followed by a discussion. In these troubled times it is increasingly difficult to go out alone and P.A.C. offers the opportunity for people who are alone to share interests such as the theatre, restaurants, museums, shopping, coach trips etc. and holidays have also been shared.

Coffee After Worship

Coffee cup

Every Sunday after the 9.30am Communion Service, coffee, tea and squash are served in our two church halls. This gives us the opportunity to meet and get to know other members of the congregations.

A similar event which is always well attended, is also held after the 10.15am service on Wednesdays.

Welcome

Church Sitters

For the last eight years Holy Trinity has been open and welcoming callers during the week. People look in to pray, find some quiet or just look at this beautiful home of ours. Each day a small team of two volunteers "sit" in the church in two shifts (11.00am - 1.00pm and 1.00pm - 3.00pm)

More sitters are needed. If you would you like to join the team and be one of those who welcome visitors contact Judy Jacobs on 01329-232855
