From the eleventh century the Tree of Jesse has been portrayed in religious illuminated manuscripts, wall paintings, wood carvings, and stone including a tomb stone; stained glass windows, floor tiles and embroidery. Malcolm Low, the author of the ‘Tree of Jesse’ Directory, and a lay reader of our Parish, has researched the subject and recorded over 300 illustrations found in Cathedrals, Churches, Museums, State owned buildings and Libraries throughout the British Isles, Ireland and in Countries from Austria to Turkey; The United States of America and South America.

Notelets – With the help of the Parish Office, Malcolm Low has reproduced his pen and ink drawings of five churches of Fareham to raise funds for the ‘Remembrance Books and Stands’ for Holy Trinity Church and St Columba Church.
